J.U. (Hans) Van Der Wal, M.Sc., P.Eng.

A civil engineer, Mr. Van Der Wal, has operated in Southern and Southeast Asia, West Africa, Australia, Europe and North America. He has worked as a contractor with several European and North American dredging and construction companies and as a senior executive with an oil company involved in Artic research, design and construction.

His 30 years includes all facets of project management and feasibility review and has included assessments of ports and harbour facilities in Asia for Alconsult.
